A new Fox News poll reveals that former President Donald Trump has a significant advantage over other potential Republican candidates when it comes to Republican women. As much as 40% of Republican women voters prefer Trump over Nikki Haley and Ron DeSantis, both likely contenders for the presidency. DeSantis is favored by only 23% of GOP women, while Haley has the support of only 9%. The former Vice President Mike Pence only got 8% support.
This survey highlights that the majority of the women surveyed (46%) care about the economy, making it the top concern for GOP women. Presently, Trump, Haley, and Republican entrepreneur, Vivek Ramaswamy, are the only declared GOP presidential candidates. However, DeSantis is also likely to be a candidate in 2024, although he has not confirmed his bid. Other rumored contenders include former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and Mike Pence.
